William Spratling was a professor of
architecture at Tulane before he arrived in Taxco from the U.S. in
1929; he is credited with establishing the town's first silver jewelry
workshop in 1931.
Crafted by hand with the lost wax technique, this
sterling silver choker is a magnificent tribute to a legendary man.
